The site is located on the shore of Lake Baikal. The unique site is designed to preserve the local landscape, plants and small sand dunes. Set back from the shore, the villa communities from several centers. Separated spa and restaurant areas are accessible for hotel and villa residents.

The goal of the building design is to orientate all 100 guest rooms towards the lake with an unobstructed view and maximum privacy. The long east west facade of the building is broken down in five single but connected building volumes, with different directions and heights, to restore the human scale, create an interesting and varied skyline and to find the similarity with the traditional local wood building style.
